Next to Mosebacke square you will find a real gem! A small restaurant with seating in both bar and table. The restaurant runs different themes together with different dishes and changes these every eight weeks.
When I was there, it was themed 80s. The music in the speakers was clearly 80's and also some decorations had been added such as a smurf on the beer tap and LPs in different corners, the icing on the cake was that you got your receipt in a cassette tape case innovative. I thought it could have been brassed on with more 80's feeling!
The staff is excessively nice and is good at combining food and wine, it is a small place and felt that sometimes that the staff came very close. Kind of when we looked at the menu, it was probably the first time I looked at a menu without feeling like this is what I want to eat! The dishes are very few, but it is noticeable that it is well thought out. I have understood later that there is a lot of work with raw materials in focus and based on season. After I had no feeling, we chose their tasting menu. This time they got three smaller starters and one main course. Clearly good and overexpected. But well, the food sensation in the 80s was like that. One thing that can bother me something crazy is when the dishes are different sizes in the same company and that different amounts of drink are poured into the glasses, like one gets more wine than the other when you order by the glass. In a place like this, this should sit. One of my dishes felt half as small as the other in my company. Highly sad, when this becomes so obvious.
Then I like to be able to sit and talk about the food and different things without the staff commenting. You have to have a little feeling when it's time.
If you want to open your wallet to the more expensive hole and eat well-composed food, this is the place for you! Invite your favorite on a proper date, or wait until your birthday. You can clearly only come here and drink wine, but this is not appreciated as they like to have the seats for eating guests.

Here we ended up after a concert at the Southern Theatre Mosebacke. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Exciting and different menu, this month inspired by Norrland. It was late so it became only 2 main courses, mine was a Arctic char with messmör and fennel and the husband took a vegetarian dish that was not as exciting but good. Worth a visit but not a detour.
