Typ 100g kött, för 110 kr, och det är fan inte långt ifrån koben (som jag har för mig kostar 1500 kr per 100g). Om jag ska säga något negativt så kan jag tycka man alltid blir lurad av wagyu-sliderna. Ser otroliga ut på menyn, men blir alltid lite "meh".
Deras chef's table borde alla uppleva minst en gång. Här sitter man inne vid köket, upp till 8 personer. Man får styra musiken själv och stöka på hur mycket man vill i princip. Menyn är en avsmak på runt 6 rätter. Kostar en del, men det är värt det!
Originalrecension 2014: Håller allt som oftast AG som min absoluta favoritkrog i Stockholm. Ibland seglar någon tillfällig stjärna upp i täten (mitt senaste besök på Griffins var helt amazing till exempel), men AG återkommer alltid som favoriten. Här har jag varit snart 10 gånger, och inte en enda gång har jag varit besviken. Inte med EN ENDA rätt. Och då är ändå förväntningarna alltid högt ställda.
Oftast äter jag entrecoten på ben för två personer men på senare tid har jag vidgat vyerna lite. Senast testade jag på den skotska, som jag nästan måste säga var bäst hittills. Har även testat den polska, waguyn, och deras "grand cru". Till förrätt måste ni testa burrattamozzarellan (dela den dock då den är enorm, och ta bacon eller deras grymma carpaccio till)
NIce miljö, bra bar, alltid bemötande i toppklass. Detta är en av världens ballaste krogar.

AG håller verkligen upp till hypen. Tog deras köttmix delat på 5 personer där vi fick ett gäng bitar från olika länder. Hade lite svårt att fota maten då mina vänner högg in innan jag ens fått upp telefonen 😄 Sjukt trevlig och kunnig personal, bra käk och en skön, unik lokal. I'll be back

Hade en riktig pangkväll här med massa vin och såklart deras mixed grill där de väljer åt en olika köttdetaljer som hängmörats enligt konstens alla regler. Otroligt bra service och maten håller riktigt bra nivå. Allting från tillbehören till köttet känns väldigt genomtänkt och har en fin smakbild tillsammans. Jag tycker att sältan var perfekt och hela mitt sällskap var otroligt nöjda över besöket!

thus! So good and so nice, knowledgeable service and all the flavors on site. The best place if you like meat! We ate a really good steak tartare in good pieces and a great pulpo for starter. We also ate the hamburger and steak from dairy cow (Sweden), and both melted in our mouths. So sick that the burger costs like at Oleary's and this one was SO good. The steak was served with bea, baked potatoes with garlic butter, fried tomatoes and salad with Parmesan - so nice with several small dishes for a dish. For dessert we ate sour milk ice cream with strawberries and pickled rhubarb - really good. Top class simply!

Well - if you're going to go to a place in Stockholm for meat, it's definitely here! We hit Swedish back steak and tested wagyun from the USA when it's a 30th anniversary celebration so it is!). Magical even for someone who usually orders fish. Started this bonfire meal with a dry martini that was fantastic: soft, perfumed - clearly a dream! Since the bean you got to the meat?? God! Fantastic service and a clearly excellent place I am very happy to visit again!

Restaurant AG is hidden and tucked away in a back street. When you have climbed two stairs in a rather shabby staircase you come to the restaurant and the first thing you meet is a hanging fridge filled with nice pieces and an incredibly stylish, cozy and unique restaurant. So cool contrast!
We started with a drink in the tapas bar with some beer sausage and marconam andlar. We are greeted by nice service and atmosphere and sick good music, very 80's. Owner Johan Jureskog suggests starting his dinner at AG by eating hungry for tapas in the tapas bar and I agree!
Then for dinner. We continued into the dining room and were treated to the same pleasant service that lasted throughout the evening. Almost all the guests we saw and heard in the dining room spoke English or any other language, it gave a lovely international atmosphere indeed!
The food was absolutely fantastic and consistently flawless. We first got into grilled levain bread (LOVE grilled bread) with lardo, plenty although I prefer my beloved butter ;) For starter, we brought in Toast Pelle Janzon, burratina, ankleverterrine and red prawns. Everything was incredibly good but the best was the prawns that were cooked in a strong and buttery sauce with cajun / creole flavors. I usually have a hard time for foie gras but this one was actually really good with a sweet marmalade and some nuts that gave a lovely crunch.
The highlight of the evening was still the meat of course. We took an entrecote on legs for 2 and a steak from Småland and an entrecote from a milk cow from Halland that was on their daily meat list. The only thing I can say is that meat really doesn't get any better than this. Here you get the absolute best pieces of meat cooked with perfection. Order some different pieces of meat and share with the whole party, and you get to try a little different. Go for some piece from the daily meat list that varies by availability and season where you can find interesting pieces and at least a piece on bone - by far the tastiest meat is what you gnaw away from the bone. YES, you may gnaw meat from a bone like an animal here, you are even encouraged to do so! Why throw away the absolute tastiest meat as well?
The accessories we took were homemade french fries deep-fried in sebum with a bearnaise sauce with lots of herbs, deliciously creamy potato gratin, baked tomato and green salad with parmesan.
I was to say the least full and contented after this but I just couldn't resist ordering a sticky toffee pudding when I saw it on the dessert menu. Sick good even if I had wished a little more caramel sauce.
Prices are high, but it's very luxurious raw materials and incredibly well cooked so they are still reasonable I would say. If you only eat in the tapas bar, however, you can get away with a cheaper bill. And although there is clearly a focus on meat at AG, there are many vegetarian and fish options, so here anyone would have a lovely dinner.
