Having survived the pandemic by branching out into home kits, Bubala's vegetarian Middle Eastern feasts expanded from its Spitalfields headquarters to Soho. Expect elegant furnishings and a menu featuring both old favourites and new hits in the making, such as halloumi with black seed honey, falafel and labneh, all catering to the meatless crowd, of course.

    Bubala is one of my favourite places in London. The Soho branch is livelier than the Spitalfields one, but the food is great as always. I'm always astounded by the things they do with ordinary vegetables.

    Exquisite Isreali vegetarian place, everything was delicious
