Medieval fortified manor house Broughton Castle is located on the outskirts of Banbury. Surrounded by a moat, this building is regal and imposing. It has a lengthy history but much of the current structure was built in the 16th century. The house is open between April and September, with visitors welcome to explore the building and gardens. Events take place here too like theatre productions.
