The former IKEA store in Tottenham is becoming a massive music and cultural venue

For years Londoners made the pilgrimage to Tottenham to stock up on affordable furniture and, as a bonus, meatballs. Whilst this North London branch of IKEA closed in August 2022, the vast space it was contained in is now set to become a new club and cultural centre for the city. It promises to be the largest cultural space in the capital.

It's been announced that Drumsheds, a new venture from the team behind iconic Printworks, is set to officially open on 30th September. This vast events space has a capacity of 15,000 people. The massive venue measures in at 608,000 square feet of floor space and will be home to ambitious curated events that celebrate music, art, culture, and community.

You'll be able to head up to Tottenham for a big night out at Drumsheds but the venue also intends to put on daytime events. Expect eclectic music choices and a strong sense of connection and community. Line-ups and events are yet to be announced but we expect to hear more from the Drumsheds team in the coming weeks.
