London's renowned Jazz Cafe announces line-up for its first-ever music festival

The Jazz Cafe is a historic London live music venue, having drawn in fans of jazz, hip hop, club music, and other sounds for almost four decades now. Regularly hosting big-name acts from across the music spectrum, The Jazz Cafe has, somewhat surprisingly, never dabbled in the festival business, but that's about to change this year.

In September, The Jazz Cafe will host its debut music festival, which comes as very welcome news in a time when more and more festivals are having to call it quits due to rising costs. Held in Southwark's largest park, Burgess Park, the Jazz Cafe Festival will feature four unique stages entwining the different aspects of the Camden venue. A grand arena stage will host the festival headliners, a 360-degree stage will provide the DJs and party vibes, a tropical plant room will serve as a chill-out area blurring the boundaries between stage and natural world, and a secret stage will – well, they're keeping that one under wraps for now.

Putting together a line-up of some of The Jazz Cafe's most cherished artists over the years, the organisers have invited to likes of Nils Frahm, Eliza, Earl Sweatshirt, Alchemist, and Omar Souleyman to play, along with numerous other tasty musical treats. Speaking of tasty treats, the full day of music will also be accompanied by food trucks and specially curated bars.

The inaugural Jazz Cafe Festival will take place on 15 September, from noon to 10 pm, with tickets starting at £35. Pre-sale starts on 13 March, and you can sign up for access here.
