Stockholms Tennishall

Stockholms Tennishall is on classic sporty territory, next to Kristinebergs IP athletics field in Kungsholmen. The facility includes everything from tennis courts to ball machines, a mini gym, a well-stocked shop and a café. You'll also find tennis schools and private coaches and you can even hire the entire hall for special events such as tennis tournaments, corporate parties and events. 

If you want to follow in tennis icon Janne Lundqvist's footsteps, head out to Kungsholmen and Stockholm's Tennishall. The hall was built by Janne Lundqvist in 1976 with the aim of promoting the game of tennis to the general public. These days the facility is run according to the motto “tennis for all” and you'll find seven hard courts, ball machines, a well-stocked shop, a minigym and changing rooms with sauna here. If you want to improve your technique there are tennis classes and private trainers; you can even re-watch your session on video afterwards. 

Stockholms Tennishall has a historic feel, with walls hung with signed photographs of famous tennis players over the years and vintage tennis rackets. There's also a cabinet full of trophies and prizes. You can buy refreshments such as hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, buns, sweets and ice cream in the tennis hall's café. There's also a shop that sells everything you need for your game, such as shoes, clothes, rackets, balls and more. You can hire the entire hall via Stockholm Tennis Club - perfect if you want to arrange tennis tournaments, corporate parties, exhibitions or other events.
