Burger or burritos? At The Border you can take your pick. Mexico meets USA under one roof at this Kungsholmen branch of the popular Södermalm concept run by Jihan Yacoob who used to live in California, close to the Mexican border.
The menu includes several different kinds of burgers, from cheeseburgers to falafelburgers, all using organic Swedish meat, along with burritos with both meat and veggie fillings. Hamburgers can be ordered with gluten-free buns, and the tortillas, salsas and dressings are all homemade. Combine with a milkshake or cold beer and relax in the colourful, kitschy surroundings.
