In the summer months, Brasseriet in the Royal Opera House opens up its two spectacular terraces looking out over the Strömmen waterway. One of them is Strömterrassen, which includes a summer restaurant, bar and nightclubs with stunning views.
Brasseriet has transformed the opera house into a lively meeting place. If you want to admire the views from the building, their terraces are the place to be during the summer. Strömterrassen looks out over Strömmen (with the Royal Palace directly opposite) and it's open most of the day for lunch, dinner and drinks at the bar. The menu includes hamburgers, shellfish and vegetarian alternatives, accompanied by a cocktail or something else to drink.
On Fridays and Saturdays, Strömterrassen transforms into an al fresco summer club with famous name DJs and a wide range of musical genres including electronic, hiphop, R&B and dancehall.
Along with Brasseriet's other terrace, Guldterrassen, Strömterrassen is only open during the summer, but Brasseriet itself is open all year round.
