This charming waterfront restaurant in Bromma has a large al fresco dining area right next to the water. Sjöpaviljongen is open all year round and serves classic Swedish dishes in archipelago-inspired surroundings. If you have your own boat you can moor at the restaurant's jetty.
Sjöpaviljongen - which is run by the team behind Konstnärsbaren and Wärdshuset Ulla Winbladh - works to preserve Swedish culinary heritage with traditional homecooking dishes and other seasonal dishes on the menu, particularly seafood and grilled meats. Classic is the watchword here, decor as well as food-wise; the restaurant is housed in a pavilion-like building on the water's edge, with light furniture and panoramic views over the water. In the summer months the large wooden boardwalk is transformed into an idyllic al fresco dining area, open for both lunch and dinner.
Holidays and special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, midsummer and Valentine's Day are celebrated here with specially composed menus and, of course, a Christmas buffet during the festive season. If you're planning a party, getting married or celebrating some other special occasion, their function rooms on the second floor can be hired for both private events and conferences. They offer various party and wedding set menus, as well as lunch and coffee for meetings.
