Paradiso is an ambitious neighbourhood restaurant that opened in 2015, and is located just off Mariatorget. The restaurant serves international flavours with French undertones and the bar offers an expansive selection of rum. The same restaurateurs that are behind critically acclaimed Linje Tio also run Paradiso.
The idea is to offer guests a relaxed, yet qualitative neighbourhood restaurant. Paradiso effortlessly blends influences from Paris and New York, as well as the rest of the world. The menu is characterised by the French-inspired dishes. The offering includes everything from oysters to grilled pineapple along with an extensive wine list.
The decor features simple wooden furniture, vintage-style rattan chairs and indoor plants, an abstract tiger mural adds a personal touch. Paradiso boasts a Miami-influenced bar where Duane Dowe, a rum and chocolate expert, has helped create the extensive rum list; naturally cocktails and beer are also served.
Restaurateurs Andreas Bergman and Joel Söderbäck are also responsible for Tjoget’s success in Hornstull and have high plans for Paradiso, raising the bar of the area's culinary offering. This ambitious joint is well worth a visit.
