If you love kebab then you've come to the right place. M.O.A.S is run by a die-hard kebab enthusiast who has travelled the country in search of the perfect kebab. The kebab is served just the way he likes it, with authentic flavours and quality ingredients.
The small kebab restaurant, Meat on a Stick, or M.O.A.S as it's commonly referred to, created quite a buzz when it opened on Roslagsgatan in 2016. Jiray Seropian, whose Instagram handle Kebabspotting is solely dedicated to finding the perfect kebab, is the mastermind behind this concept. M.O.A.S is an attempt to improve the reputation of this ancient fast food; the food here is made from scratch with fresh produce in an artisanal setting.
M.O.A.S elevates the typical street food experience. The interior nods to the Mediterranean with mosaic floor and ceiling tiles, industrial-style light bulbs and white plastered walls. The menu features everything from chicken, lamb and pork to falafel in different combinations; all dishes are named after cities. Classic sides such as fries are served and can be combined with a glass of wine, a cold beer or even a baklava shake.
