This little neighbourhood restaurant on Timmermansgatan near Mariatorget serves a regularly changing menu of Swedish dishes. The restaurant, which used to be called Timber, also has several long-standing favourites.
The wood-themed decor is a nod to the restaurant's address (the street name means Carpenter Street) but while the interiors may be rustic and pared-back, the cooking is advanced and ambitious. The team aim to create drinks and food made with care and joy - dishes that the chefs themselves would want to eat. Choose from dishes such as chantarelle toast and steak tartare, and if you don't want to sit down for a full meal you can always just have a glass of wine and a bite to eat in the bar.
