Historic Konstnärsbaren is a real restaurant institution in Stockholm - as popular today as when it was established in the Thirties. Swedish homecooking draws in a loyal crowd of regulars, along with the long artistic history and unique atmosphere.
Konstnärsbaren, or KB as most people call it, was originally a watering hole for famous artists and actors. These days the older crowd of regulars mix with a wonderfully motley crew of businessmen, media types, groups of friends, theatregoers and artists. The menu consists of classic, excellently executed Swedish dishes such as Toast Skagen, Wallenbergare veal patties and Isterband pork sausages. Lunches are popular, so book in advance.
