The Italian wine bar, Corvina Enoteca in Gamla Stan is not only a cosy destination for wine enthusiasts but also for hungry diners in the mood for authentic Southern European cuisine. With its grazing menus and interesting wines, Corvina Enoteca is anything but a touristy restaurant.
The brick walls, stylish interior and sparse outdoors seating area set the tone, the venue is reminiscent of warmer latitudes. The restaurant has the same owners as Café Foam, and have had years of training to perfect the all-Italian concept. The wine menu is of course the main attraction with a carefully curated array of wine from all corners of the earth, but the food is as equally impressive. Simple dishes from the finest ingredients are served. The menu features cheese boards, charcuteries, smaller bites to eat as well as pasta and risotto, to be finished off with homemade grape sorbet and tiramisu.
The intimate venue boasts a bar and small upstairs seating area, and during summer months the outdoor terrace is a popular respite. Customers can also select specialties from behind the counter to bring with them home. Wining and dining in Gamla Stan does not have to be an expensive affair. Corvina Enoteca offers quality food and wine at a reasonable price.
