Part of Hotel Kungsträdgården, French-inspired Brasserie Makalös serves everything from breakfast to dinner in historic surroundings. Hotel guests, visitors and locals come here for a dose of traditional French cuisine and lashings of French wine. The elegant interiors make it a delightful place to hang out at any time of day or night. Don't miss having a drink in the cocktail and champagne bar after your meal.
The name Makalös (meaning "exceptional") comes from a castle with the same name which used to be situated next to Kungsträdgården in the 17th century. Like the castle's architect, Brasserie Makalös is inspired by France and you'll find classic favourites such as snails, croque monsieur and their speciality boeuf bourguignon on the menu. On weekdays they serve a lunchtime plat du jour, which always includes a vegetarian option. Bienvenue!
