With clear influences from New York and a twist on minimalism, Kitchen & Table has really created a great atmosphere. A wonderful interior with small details such as small lemon trees, patterned tables, high and low chairs and open kitchen that made the room alive. Despite a full dining room, the sound level remained at a comfortable level and I was able to hear what my company said while enjoying the playlist that easily rolled in the background. The service was good and we were asked on a couple of occasions if we wanted something more and was satisfied but dwindled a bit during the visit, which in and of itself is not so weird as it constantly poured into new people. It can probably be a good idea to put another one in the workforce to maintain high standards-and of the food to judge, I think they will have a lot to do even going forward. And in addition, they served out all the food we ordered incredibly quickly which is an extra gold star.

When we were a hungry bunch, it ended up with that we ordered in almost everything eatable on the brunch menu. I thought they had a varied and exciting range with everything from the classic yogurtdish with berries and granola to steak tartare and chicken waffles. I would also like to add (65-135sek) and we were recommended to take two each, which in retrospect for my part was very excellent. The beverage selection, unfortunately I can not comment on when I drank alcohol free but I hintade a few red wines that I like in the wine list.

I had a hard to choose but landed in the end of their eggs Benedict with salmon, 63 degree egg, hollandaise and pickled red onion (110kr, 5/5) and French Toast with caramelized banana, peanut butter and chocolate (85KR, 4/5). To this a cup of freshly brewed black gold and I got replenished, wonderful. Very aesthetically neat and I liked that they served the different dishes on different barrels and plates and also that they went in the same style as the interior and created a nice and thoughtful whole.

I also liked that they used smoked salmon that created a new character on the right and the egg... Geez so good. Will probably never again want to have a poached, baked will be the VA. The size of the entire establishment was also nothing I could complain about but unfortunately the second we ordered in was much smaller which of course affects the overall experience.

As for the toast, it was good but I lacked more maple syrup (you know a small bowl so you get pouring on yourself), juicier bread and more pressure in the caramelized banana. It would have had to go at least triple the time in the frying pan. However, it was good when it was not too sweet, but if I had been wanting it would be nice with either strawberries or blueberries to mfor a fresh flavor switch. When there was a lack of juiciness, the peanut butter contributed to it became a hearty and untoward feeling, but I ate it all up.

I think it was certainly worth the money and I can definitely imagine going back here and try more of the dishes. Was really healed by the chicken waffles and the rough steak. In the future I expect that the proportions and plates look the same only, then I am ready to raise to a 5th!

Charmig personal gör Kitchen & Table till ett angenämt ställe att få sina amerikanska "cravings"dämpade på!

Hotellkedja + känd svensk kock = sant. Låter inte alls särskilt spännande och jag hade inga som helst förväntningar. Kul när det blir bra då.

När vi rullar in - med barnvagn - så blir vi direkt mottagna av den underbara servicemanagern som utbrister "Vi älskar barn". Det var kärlek direkt och när personalen inom fem minuter trollar fram kritor och papper förstärker det bara intrycket. Jag applåderar den som lyckades med konststycket att få så många fantastiska människor på samma restaurang. WOW, det är det som gör att jag vill komma tillbaka igen och igen.

Vi hänger i baren innan vi sätter oss och jag dricker en trevlig Moscow Mule, cool bartender som verkligen är rätt person på rätt plats.
Dryckesmässigt är jag inte så imponerad men den Riesling jag drack till maten fungerade okej.

Vi får plats vid ett stort Community table i mitten av lokalen och vi rekommenderas att välja så lika mat som möjligt för att underlätta eftersom vi är ett större sällskap.
Jag förstår sånt men försök få nio personer att enas när menyn är så bred med massor av härliga förrätter och snacks. Jag skulle säga att det är omöjligt.

Jag tycker att de lyckats med att skapa en frestande meny om man bortser från huvudrätterna, så tråkiga!

Menyn är skriven med engelska överskrifter eftersom inriktningen är en fusion mellan Manhattans rika matkultur med svenska lokala råvaror, kul idé och vissa saker når fram, andra inte.

Jag väljer Chicken & Waffles och sedan Roti Canai som varmrätt.

Chicken & Waffles var riktigt god med bra kryddning, konsistens och härlig kombination med kycklinglevermousse. Stor portion så går bra att dela.

Fick även prova Korea Town Tartar och den hade sting i sig. Anmärkningsvärt är att den verkade innehålla Koriander och det stod inte på menyn, mitt sällskap surade lite över det.

Jag gjorde ett misstag och det var att beställa Roti Canai som varmrätt. Min senaste upplevelse var den bästa i världen på en restaurang i Kuala Lumpur och jag skulle kunna flyga dit bara för att äta där.
Det blev inte bra här och jag borde ha vetat det. Brödet var sprött och lite segt och Curryn inte ens i närheten av det jag var ute efter. Stor eloge till vår härliga servis som bytte ut min kalla till en varm när hon förstod att jag hade tänkt äta den som varmrätt.

Mitt sällskap beställde in Mac&cheese och Falafel och båda dessa rätter var klart godkända och något jag gärna äter igen.

Den yngre i sällskapet fick glass med kaksmulor och jordgubbar som dessert. Himmelskt gott men det föll inte den lilla i smaken. Min rekommendation är att alltid ha en enkel vaniljglass, älskar man barn är barnvänlig glass bra. Tar inte många minuter i en Pacojet.

Slutsatsen är att hit går du för att äta fett och semi-amerikanskt och för att njuta av service som är charmigt personlig och proffsig. Bara personalen är värd ett besök.
