Fresh and sustainable
Johan Jureskog from the award-winning meat restaurant AG also runs this modern fastfood joint with an emphasis on sustainability and Swedish ingredients. The vegetarian options - a veggie burger with falafel from Maxos as well as a Greek variation with polenta-fried feta cheese - may cause serious menu envy. Both come topped with fresh herbs and served in organic burger buns.

Restaurateur Maximillian Lundin has worked at Gyldene Freden and Franska Matsalen - and now he's putting all his energies into organic fast food. The burgers are made from Swedish kidney beans and are served with vegan cheese and sugar-free ketchup.

The successful burger chain Phil's Burger doesn't just grill meat for their hamburgers - those who choose to eat vegetarian can get a great halloumi burger with avocado, oven-dried tomatoes, pickled red onions and homemade dressing. Combine with a milkshake for a more traditional vibe.
