Updated 15 Jul 2019
There's never been a better or easier time to be a vegan. Plant-based food is taking up an ever-increasing amount of space on the menus of Stockholm's cafés and restaurants - offering tasty and healthy choices for everyone, whether you're a vegan, carnivore or omnivore. The city has several cafés that focus on green options; and many that are completely vegan. We've rounded up Stockholm's best vegan cafés in this guide.

The café, with its focus on music and politics, opened back in 1984 and is run as a non-profit enterprise. All the food and fika they serve is vegan and on Sundays they lay out a brunch buffet. Just like a living room
There are branches of Vurma in both Vasastan and Hornstull. As well as sweet things, like decadent vegan brownies with coconut frosting, you'll find smoothies and freshly squeezed orange juice on the menu. It feels just like hanging out in someone's sitting room.
Blå Lotus is a well-loved favourite that always offers vegan options. Cosy decor contributes to the relaxed atmosphere, with eastern influences.
