Hip haunt

Riche is another buzzy favourite haunt among social Stockholmers and, just like its sister restaurants Taverna Brillo and Sturehof, it's open 365 days a year. The menu is Swedish-French and you can come here at any time of the day to enjoy breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.

Ateneum

Old heritage, modern design

In this former girl's school on Sveavägen there are no school holidays any more, but opening hours and the menu in this boutique hotel's restaurant can vary on public holidays and during the summer. Swing by for classic cuisine with a twist in a stylish setting designed by Wingårdhs architects.

Berns Asiatiska

Party food with an Asian touch

Don't fancy traditional Swedish festive food? The magnificent Berns was home to the first Chinese restaurant in Sweden in the Forties and they still serve Asian-inspired food beneath their huge chandeliers. You don't need to leave town or gather a big group of family or friends to experience a feeling of unity and oneness with nature. Scandic's signature hotel Downtown Camper on Brunkebergstorg has a fantastic restaurant in keeping with the hotel's "urban wilderness" theme.
