This always-popular food bar on Mosebacke torg is famous for serving innovative menus which follow frequently changing themes. The idea is to create a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels welcome. They also serve selected wines from small producers.

Success story on Ringvägen

This successful restaurant on Ringvägen is run by a team with experience from several Michelin-starred restaurants in Stockholm. Not long after opening, Triton was also awarded a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin guide. The menu consists of a reasonably-priced three courses made using the highest quality ingredients.

Plant-based in club surroundings

Next door to the club destination Trädgården in Skanstull you'll find this vegetarian restaurant serving plant-based food with locally-grown seasonal ingredients. Combine the tasting menu with a drinks package that consists of natural wines. They also serve cocktails made with Swedish spirits.

Chinese fine dining

You'll find Waipo in MOOD Stockholm. Food comes from China, in particular the famous food provinces of Canton and Sichuan. Typical dishes with classic flavours mix with modern elements and innovative ingredients, to be enjoyed in sophisticated surroundings with distinctly Chinese touches.

Un Poco

The best of Italy

Two thirds of Swedish House Mafia are behind this Italian success story in Östermalm. Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell Hedfors serve authentic Italian flavours, with the best ingredients and wines from Italy. Their extensive menu includes everything from cheese and charcuterie to truffled macaroni, grilled tuna and dry-aged beef.

Coco & Carmen

From the team behind Punk Royale

Like an ordinary neighbourhood restaurant but different, that's how Coco & Carmen describe themselves. It's run by the same team as Punk Royale, so you can expect a certain degree of decadence and a large dose of excellent cooking. Their tasting menu is served at lunch and dinner.

At Smak, diners can create their own individual tasting menu. The kitchen takes its inspiration from all corners of the world and recommends excellent wines to go with each dish. Choose from a long list of flavours, including everything from cumin to truffle, lemongrass and chipotle.

Sushi Oi

For gourmets

Sushi Oi on Karlavägen serves an eight-course set menu with an emphasis on fish and shellfish. If you like you can also order a sake package to go with your meal. The restaurant only has nine covers, so if you're a slightly larger party you may well have the whole place to yourselves.

A stone's throw from Södra station, brothers Aleksandar and Filip have created a Spanish oasis with traditional dishes from their homeland. But this is no ordinary tapas restaurant, instead they serve traditional dishes just as they're eaten in Spain. The tasting menu consists of a collection of the restaurant's most popular dishes.

Sushi Sho

Japanese tradition meets Scandinavian ingredients

Japanese sushi tradition meets Scandinavian and European ingredients at Sushi Sho. They only serve one menu, which includes the chef's favourite small dishes and nigiri sushi. The chef serves whe whole bar at the same time in sittings. The menu varies according to what's available and in season and can vary from day to day.

Soyokaze

An emphasis on ingredients

The emphasis at Soyokaze is on providing a memorable flavour experience using top-notch ingredients. The menu consists of around 20 dishes chosen by the chef and prepared in front of the guests. There's also a wide selection of sake to pair with your food. The restaurant has 13 seats and serves all their guests at the same time.

A taste of Tokyo

Minako serves up a taste of Tokyo in Vasastan. They serve omakase Japanese-style. For an extra authentic experience, take a seat at the bar and have your food prepared and served directly by the chef. The restaurant has three sittings per evening and all guests are served at the same time.

The menu at Stadshuskällaren includes largely Swedish fish and game dishes with regionally-produced accompaniments such as locally-grown vegetables, mushrooms and berries. Punk Royale

Provocative

Joakim Almqvist and Kalle Nilsson left their former restaurant in Åre and opened up in Södermalm with a completely unique restaurant. The controversial chefs have attracted a huge amount of attention with their spectacular servings and even if their style isn't for everyone it's a huge success and they're constantly fully booked. Expect the unexpected.

Tasting menus are the order of the day at this fine-dining restaurant on Odenplan. The menu changes every day depending on what nature has to offer. In addition to exciting dishes, the environmentally-friendly wine restaurant selects wines that pair perfectly with the food.

Fine-dining restaurant Petri on Kommendörsgatan has named its tasting menu after the pleasant scent that accompanies rain after a warm, dry period. Enjoy creative seasonal dishes based around vegetables, meat and seafood.
