Authentic Indian flavours meet modern elements and a luxurious setting at this popular little Indian restaurant on Jungfrugatan. A great option if you find yourself in this part of town craving classic Indian dishes for lunch or dinner.

If you're looking for peaceful surroundings and exciting flavours, Guru is a great option. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and they serve both classic and modern dishes along with selected wines and beers. The menu includes vegetarian options and tempting, unexpected desserts.

Pataka in Östermalm has put a great deal of love and attention into the interior design, with patterned ceilings, arches and filled with gold details. Food is traditional, but with owner Sunil's own modern twist. He combines his memories of his grandmother's and mother's cooking with street food influences from Bangalore and Mumbai.

Family-owned Happy India serves classic Indian dishes and they recommend their guests choose one vegetarian or vegan dish from the menu. The restaurant, just a stone's throw from Mariatorget, boasts a charcoal grill where they cook many of their dishes for extra flavour. 

Restauranghallen S2 is a relaxed option for both lunch and dinner. More than a dozen restaurants are gathered here under one roof, and Little India is one of them. Despite the name, most of the inspiration comes from Bengali cuisine, specifically the owners' own childhood memories. Choose from tasty curries that are best combined with a soft naan.

Banyan, named after India's national tree, serves food from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan in small, intimate surroundings in Kungsholmen. The menu has something for everyone, whether you prefer your food mild or hot and spicy. A dining experience for all the senses.

If you want to try something different in the same neighbourhood as Indian Garden, Indian Inn is a popular, though not yet as hyped, option. Eat traditional and modern dishes made from fresh ingredients. A charming little oasis.
