Systrarna Frö

This charming little café on Kronobergsgatan in Kungsholmen serves healthy breakfast options and plant-based lunch dishes inspired by the world's cuisines. Nutritious vegetarian food takes centre stage and everything is made on site, from scratch.

Systrarna Frö is run by Marie Fogde Hejda and Carina Asplund, two sisters who also run a café in Nacka. This café is a little oasis on Kronobergsgatan near Fridhemsplan. Healthy breakfasts and lunches are served in light, pared-back surroundings, but you can also find freshly-baked buns, brownies and other goodies here, as well as coffee from a local coffee roasters. In other words, it's a great spot for a classic fika too.

Everything is cooked and baked on site, and they aim to offer something for all tastes. The menu varies from day to day and includes lactose and gluten-free options. There's a strong emphasis on colourful, vegetarian dishes such as bowls and soups. For breakfast you can choose from chia puddings, chai-cooked porridge or a barley bowl with exciting toppings, or just a simple sandwich and coffee.

As well as breakfast, fika and lunch, Systrarna Frö also offers catering and takeaway.
