A great deal has happened since Mathilde first opened up its doors on Biblioteksgatan. The little boutique has expanded and grown up, while retaining its original feel. The unique Mathilde mix reflects the globetrotter who has travelled the world and brought home a personal selection of beautiful things. Together they create an eclectic, inspiring collection.
With three floors in the PK-huset building on Hamngatan, Mathilde fills the large space with lifestyle clothes, accessories and interiors details in a rainbow of colours. You'll find Ralph Lauren's boho-chic denim collection here, Minnetonkas suede boots, clothes by Odd Molly and hand-selected handbags, among other items. An inspiring mix with ethnic elements. They also stock popular brands such as Hunter and Ugg, which has its own store within the store.
But Mathilde isn't just about the products they sell, the interiors also contribute to the boutique's intimate atmosphere and the complete experience. Customers should feel welcome and enjoy shopping and browsing here. On the top floor they sell a personally edited selection of brands, on the middle floor is the shoe department and on the lower floor you'll find china and interiors mixed up with brands such as Odd Molly. The entire concept is a personal collection of both famous brands and curated items from all over the world, such as handmade furniture and limited-edition lamps. Many of the items they sell are completely unique.
The store is the perfect place to stop and browse for a while, exploring every hidden nook and cranny. Exclusive labels hang alongside brands in a slightly lower price category. You might just end up taking one of their pretty purple carrier bags home with you - if you ever manage to leave, that is.
