Skeppsbro Bageri

Skeppsbro Bageri

This organic artisan bakery and café is in the middle of Skeppsbrokajen quay, with fantastic views over the water. The counter is packed with cinnamon buns and sourdough bread and there's plenty of space indoors and out if you want to stop for a fika or a light lunch.

Skeppsbro Bageri opened in a former customs house in the summer of 2018 and it's run by Håkan Johansson Frost, Sweden's only world champion baker, together with Fredrik Ekman. They bake sourdough bread in stone ovens and grind their own wholemeal flour. All the ingredients they use are organic. The bakery is also a popular café, particularly during the summer months when you can sit outside and enjoy the view as you have a coffee, breakfast or a sourdough sandwich for lunch.

If you want to buy their bread at other locations, Skeppsbro Bageri also has two bread vans that can be found out and about around Stockholm every day.

5 stars in the summer when you can sit on the quay. I experienced the bath in previous directing as absolute top class, still think it is very good after two smaller breakfast visits. Now even with indoor seating

I have kind of decided to review Skeppsbro Bakery on the occasion that I was so incredibly disappointed the first time me and my family came here - the day after cinnamon bun day. Call me naïve, but I had a hard time expecting that there would be cinnamon buns in large truck bodies for everyone... Show full »

Have heard so o much about this place.
I ordered a croissant semla. I am very picky when it comes to cream and unfortunately this was whipped for too long. It tasted like butter! ☹
But the room was cozy and the staff really nice. ✔

A 100% organic bakery!
The bread was good, the sandwiches are always fresh and good.
The buns are great!
Well arranged tables without stringing the customers together.

The bad:
No WI-FI, the staff didn't seem to care about the greet not when coming in.

Inte nog med att de har stans bästa kanelbullar, de har också väldigt gott matbröd. Trevlig och kvick personal gör också att man gärna stannar här på vägen hem.
