This organic artisan bakery and café is in the middle of Skeppsbrokajen quay, with fantastic views over the water. The counter is packed with cinnamon buns and sourdough bread and there's plenty of space indoors and out if you want to stop for a fika or a light lunch.
Skeppsbro Bageri opened in a former customs house in the summer of 2018 and it's run by Håkan Johansson Frost, Sweden's only world champion baker, together with Fredrik Ekman. They bake sourdough bread in stone ovens and grind their own wholemeal flour. All the ingredients they use are organic. The bakery is also a popular café, particularly during the summer months when you can sit outside and enjoy the view as you have a coffee, breakfast or a sourdough sandwich for lunch.
If you want to buy their bread at other locations, Skeppsbro Bageri also has two bread vans that can be found out and about around Stockholm every day.
