Restaurang Rebell

An innovative Swedish neighbourhood restaurant - that's how Restaurang Rebell describe themselves. Since opening in 2010 they've been serving up dishes with a Swedish culinary heritage but given a contemporary twist. Drop by for a bite to eat and something tasty in your glass, or share a selection of dishes around the table. Social dining in the true meaning of the word.

A lively, intimate atmosphere pervades the premises on Friisgatan. Dishes are based on seasonal ingredients and are plated up in smaller and larger portions. The menu is distinctly Swedish, without being totally traditional homecooking. International influences accompany the Nordic tones, creating modern and surprising flavour combinations.

Many of the dishes on the menu are served medium-sized, perfect for sharing and tasting with the rest of your party. If you would rather go for a more traditional meal, you can still go for the classic starter, main course and dessert structure. At lunchtime you can choose from generous and well-chosen meat and fish dishes at decent prices. A big bonus also for clearly marked gluten and lactose-free and vegan dishes.

Since 2017, when Friisgatan became a pedestrian zone in the summer, the restaurant has had some 80 further covers in their al fresco serving area.
