I december 2016 förvandlade krögaren Melker Andersson och hans restauranggrupp F12 Stockholmskonceptet Köttbaren till den nya hamburgarverkstaden Burgers & Friends i samma lokaler vid Caroli City. Här ligger fokus istället helt på hamburgare och att experimentera med smakkombinationer för att sätta nya burgare på menyn. Bland annat finns det burgare gjorda på skaldjur, torsk och kött i olika former, men också vegetariska och vegansk burgare.
