Sustainability takes centre stage at this highly regarded restaurant within the centrally located Clarion Hotel Post. They serve a traceable menu in their elegant restaurant, using locally produced ingredients and Japanese techniques. The season determines what produce the kitchen works with and the menu can often change from day to day.

Since opening in 2012, VRÅ has served food with Nordic/Japanese elements in the heart of central Gothenburg. In autumn 2019 the restaurant was completely renovated and moved up a floor. The decor has a foot in both Japan and the West Coast. The restaurant is decorated in an exclusive, minimalist style with locally-sourced materials such as Bohuslän marble and recycled glass from Orrefors. There's low Japanese-style seating, long tables and drop-in spots. They also offer a chambre séparée for private groups as well as Gothenburg's largest sake bar, with over 40 kinds of sake

The restaurant's sustainable ethos is evident in everything from the food to the interiors. Everything they serve follows the seasons and ingredients are locally-produced and organic. The menu includes dishes with fish and shellfish from approved wild stocks or growers, vegetables from the hotel's rooftop gardens and local organic farms, as well as meat from carefully selected farms. The emphasis is on fish, shellfish and plant-based ingredients.
