Living room with a club feel
An entire house packed with good vibes. Each floor and room has its own character, decor and music style, nicely mixed up to give a varied night out. Various popular house DJs put their personal stamp on the dancefloors. Right at the top of the building is a balcony with views over the city at night.

Club life on a high
This popular clubby living room is just around the corner from Avenyn. At Yaki-Da, Wednesdays are the new weekend, and you can dance the night away in the middle of the week. Various DJs and mixed music styles on several dancefloors, combined with live performances. The coffee bar can get really packed with clubbers downing hot shots. There's also a piano bar at the top of the building.
Park LaneKungsportsavenyn 36-38, Avenyn/Centrum
At the top of Avenyn, Park Lane is the place that never sleeps, or almost never. The music's pumping and clubbing goes hand in hand with cabarets and other glittering live shows. The crowd is delightfully mixed, from major international artists to country cousins. On Sundays nights, the restaurant branch cuts loose at the famous Spritluckan club night.

Like a tropical cocktail
This lively spot on Gothenburg's main boulevard has a year-round lounge-like outdoor area. Cocktails are quaffed and deep house pumps out from the DJ booth, where both Swedish and international DJs make guest appearances. It can often get crowded on the little dancefloor, and if it gets too sweaty you can always head up the spiral staircase and cool off on the terrace with views over Avenyn.

Summer legend with all the trimmings
The summer success story Port Du Soleil has moved around town over the years, to end up at the legendary Trädgår’n. This is the place to come for a serious party with all the trimmings. If you want to dance the night away to house with pounding bass, you won't be disappointed. "Normal is boring" is their motto and they get masses of star-studded bookings.

Stureplan on Avenyn
The Stockholm-based Stureplansgruppen has brought their tried-and-tested formula to the west coast, giving Gothenburgers the chance to show the capital how to party. Dance under a spaceship-like cupola or under the stars during the summer months when their summer concept SKY is on the go. Large spaces and a great atmosphere with a mixed music offering.
HenriksbergStigbergsliden 7, Masthugget
This spot on Stigbergsbacken offers a slightly more alternative club offering. If you're in the mood for a Nineties theme, rock, salsa or punk club, you've come to the right place - but make sure you check what's on that particular evening before you head out. They also arrange live performances and quiz nights. The large rooftop terrace on the top floor boasts one of the city's most spectacular views.

Gothenburgers have been coming here for culture and entertainment since the 1920s. These days, the newly-renovated former cinema building plays host to various kinds of clubs, both on the smaller upper floor and the in the large stage area on the ground floor. A large, diverse crowd pack in to the bar and the dance floor. Indie-poppers, R&B groovers and rock fans alike come for club nights and live performances.
8ightKungsportsavenyen 8, Avenyn/Centrum
8ight, in the middle of Avenyn, is one of the street's smaller and more exclusive clubs. Guests can live it up in the lavishly-decorated premises, where the atmosphere is intimate and lively. 8ight is a members-only club, which means that you can only get in if you're on the guest list or have booked a table. So get your glad rags on and raise the roof!

This is one of Gothenburg's very best gay clubs. Party princes pack the clubs' two floors and everyone is welcome here as long as you're free and open-minded. The various dancefloors provide a mix of music and house fans and pop queens alike can get their groove on. The club features guest performances from various gay icons and has won the Gaygala's Gothenburg prize.

This South American-influenced restaurant transforms into a euphoric dance palace at weekends. Throbbing salsa and merengue tones are the order of the day and the wooden dancefloor fills with professional dancers and enthusiasts alike. Cool off with a tropical cocktail as the heat and atmosphere seduce you.

Four floors of festivities
At Sticky the week begins on Thursdays with club Total, which puts on a mix of rockfunk, pop, hiphop and house. A more rock-influenced club follows on Fridays and on Saturdays nu-funk and house are the order of the day. The basement is where the harder rock crew hang out. There are plenty of live performances and the crowd is as mixed as the music.

In the heart of Avenyn
There's been a party at this address since the late 1800s. These days, Valand is one of the city's most popular clubs and there's a party atmosphere every Friday and Saturday night. The club consists of two dance floors, with new hits played on one and another right next to their own Rock bar.
