This charming seafood restaurant has been around since the end of the 90s. Wooden wall panels lend the restaurant a welcoming atmosphere and you can sit and eat both at tables and at the bar counter. A large wooden portal next to the entrance leads through to the delightful courtyard where you can sit and eat al fresco in the summer months.
In the middle of Göta Älv river
This classic seafood restaurant is right out at the end of a pier. Sit in the light, airy dining room, surrounded by views out over the river and entrance to the harbour. The restaurant serves both à la carte and set menus, along with their own classics such as steamed blue mussel soup. If you really want to push the boat out, tuck into an entire seafood platter with accompaniments.

This restaurant, right at the top of Hotell Gothia Towers, has a long-standing reputation for serving a seriously good prawn sandwich. And the reputation is well deserved. But there's also much more to discover here, fish and shellfish-wise. If you do go for the famous sandwich, expect 200 grams of hand-peeled Arctic prawns on rye bread with mayonnaise, egg and salad.
